The Seventh Day
The Day of Rest
Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Interpretation:
And so the places where the Self could experience consciousness and the subconscious mind were finished, and all the things that were created and made within them.
Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Interpretation:
There was nothing more for the Self and mind to do. The mind and the things within, were perfect for the purpose they were created and made, and on the seventh day the only desire which was for rest was fulfilled.
Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Interpretation:
And the Self and mind expressed Love for the seventh day, and declared it to be holy (good and right), because in it the Self and mind had rested from all its work which it had created and made. There was nothing more to be created, and the end of the beginning had been reached.
